Sandpaper saucer-berry  (Cordia monoica) Family: Boraginaceae.

The species is also used for live fencing, firewood, char coal, handles , wood carving, beehive hooks. The leaves are eaten by camel and goat.

வக்கனை

Bombay ebony  Diospyros montana  Family:  EBENACEAE

It is a small deciduous tree found in dry deciduous to evergreen forests  up to 800 m.
