Sandalwood seeds will not germinate --- and even if they do, the trees will not thrive --- unless the site of planting features host species that prepare the soil and share nutrients and water with the sandalwood tree

Generally seeds come through the feces of animals/droppings of birds will germinated fast and the plant grow well.
