Bluebell

 Bluebell (Ruellia tuberosa)      is a herb, found along the roadside weed throughout the forest area in India as well as other countries. (Native rangeCentral and South America).

    looks very different from bluebells I see in the UK - are they different species?

    Several species are there. Again this is also introduced plant.
